Aerospace Composites GmbH takes over the business operations of SST Flugtechnik GmbH

With the acquisition of SST Flugtechnik GmbH’s business operations, we are strategically expanding our expertise in the aviation sector. The company, EASA-certified since 2015, is recognized as a Design Organization and brings extensive know-how in certification, design optimization, and system integration.

SST has been responsible, among other things, for the type certifications of the Extra 400 and Extra 500, and has developed several Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), including for the Daher Kodiak 100. In addition, the team has many years of experience in areas such as flight test installations, system integration, structural analysis, and repair development.

With this step, we are strengthening our profile as an innovative aviation company and are focusing on technology, quality, and growth in order to actively shape the future of aviation.

Site Expansion 2025/2026

AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY GmbH invests in the future – expansion for research, development, and production.

AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY GmbH continues to grow. To meet the increasing demands of research, development, and production, we will begin expanding our existing site in June 2025.

As part of this project, the current storage and small production halls will be deconstructed and replaced by a modern, two-story extension.

This new facility will not only provide additional capacity for our manufacturing processes but also offer an optimized working environment for innovation in aerospace technology. The expansion will strengthen the following key areas:

  • Research & Development – More space for advanced manufacturing technologies, material research, and prototyping
  • Training & Education – State-of-the-art facilities for employee and partner training programs
  • Production & Assembly – Efficient, flexible workflows for launch vehicles, rocket engines, and drone systems

This investment secures the long-term viability of our company and lays the infrastructural foundation to remain at the forefront of technological innovation.
